Today, it is their daughter, Gaia, who carries on the dream of her parents and, aided by her brother Nicolò, she has turned the company into a modern winery. Together, they have built a magical place where history, wine and nature come together to welcome anyone who decides to come visit.
A cutting-edge winery in an ancient village, the Santa Giustina farm covers about 120 hectares. Amidst land with annual crops and woods, 30 hectares of vineyards “find refuge”, producing Barbera, Bonarda, Ortrugo, Malvasia, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir grapes. These vines provide the starting point for the unmistakable Piacenza DOC wines and fine international blends, created through a clever fusion of ancient agricultural knowledge and modern technological innovations, all with total respect for the naturalness and sustainability of a “living” product like wine.
The 16 labels produced incorporate not only the flavours of the earth, but also all the suggestions that this magical place is able to transmit.
This is all attributable to an unquestionably charming venue which combines the passion of the people who have decided to live and work in a place that steals and warms hearts at the same time.
That is why today, Santa Giustina is also a venue for events.
An ancient church dating back to the year one thousand, a manor house, an ivy-clad house and an old renovated barn are the elements that make up a complex nestled in the charming rolling hills of the Val Tidone.
From weddings to corporate events, the venue is perfectly suited to accommodate any type of event.
Modern facilities that stand out thanks to the indisputable charm of times-gone-by and tailor-made services are what the company is able to offer in order to turn a special occasion into an unforgettable moment. Santa Giustina also stirs up emotions in those who have nothing to organise, opening its doors to visitors during events branded “Suino Divino”, a project that the company created to promote great days out where the stars are the wines, excellent local produce and, above all, people.
